Privacy Policy for PDF Bolt

1. Overview

PDF Bolt is a PDF reader and editor for Android. This policy explains what information the App collects, or more importantly, what it does not. PDF Bolt was designed to work without accounts and without uploading your documents anywhere.

2. Information We Collect

The App does not require you to register, create an account or provide your name or email. We do not collect personal information such as your identity, contacts or location. Using the App does not create a profile of you.

3. Your Documents and Files

Your files stay on your device. Reading, signing, scanning, compressing and converting are performed locally through on-device processing. PDF Bolt does not upload, store or access your documents on any server, and works even in airplane mode.

Optional storage permissions let you open, save or share files through Android's file pickers and the system share sheet. You control which files the App can access.

4. Payments and the App Store

PDF Bolt Pro is purchased through Google Play. Payment processing, billing and subscription management are handled by Google, and your payment information is collected and processed by Google under its own privacy policy. PDF Bolt does not receive or store your payment details.

5. Analytics and Crash Reports

The App may collect anonymous, aggregate usage and crash data (for example, which feature is used or whether the App stopped unexpectedly) to improve quality and stability. This data cannot be used to identify you.

6. Advertising

The free version of the App may display advertisements served by third-party networks, which may use cookies or device identifiers to serve relevant ads. PDF Bolt Pro removes advertising entirely. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your Android advertising settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Data Retention and Security

Because documents are processed locally, there is no document data to retain. Any anonymous diagnostic data is kept only as long as needed for its purpose. Local files remain under your control on your device.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your data, including access, correction or deletion. Where no personal data is collected, those rights are already respected by design. You can also uninstall the App at any time.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
